Long-Term Luggage Storage in Heraklion: 25% Off From Three Days
Leaving Heraklion for a few days of island hopping or hiking? Store the luggage you do not need with us from €2.25 a day, with 25% off any stay of three days or more.
Most people arriving in Crete are not staying in Heraklion the whole time. They are using it as a base, or a landing point, and heading off somewhere that does not require the big suitcase — and often actively punishes you for bringing it.
Who this is for
- Island hopping — taking the ferry to Santorini or elsewhere in the Cyclades with a small bag instead of your full luggage
- Hiking the Samaria Gorge or the mountains, where a wheeled suitcase is genuinely useless
- Multi-day boat trips or sailing, where cabin space is measured in centimetres
- Anyone between two apartments or accommodation bookings with a gap in the middle
- Long-haul travellers with winter clothes they will not need again until the flight home
How the long-stay rate works
Storage of three days or more gets 25% off instead of the standard 10% online discount. It applies automatically when you book — you do not need to ask for it, and there is no code to enter. The two discounts do not stack; the longer stay simply replaces the smaller discount with the bigger one.
Remember that days are counted inclusively: both the drop-off day and the collection day are charged. Dropping off on Monday and collecting on Wednesday is three days, which means that trip already qualifies.
What it actually costs
- One backpack for 4 days: €12, minus 25% = €9.00
- One large suitcase for 5 days: €25, minus 25% = €18.75
- Two cabin suitcases for a full week: €56, minus 25% = €42.00
A large suitcase on the long-stay rate works out at €3.75 a day. For comparison, that is less than most people spend on the coffee they drink while worrying about where to leave it.
Practical notes
Pack what you need for the trip before you drop off, because you are handing over the whole bag rather than visiting it. Take documents, medication and valuables with you. And check the collection day against our hours — if you are coming back on a Sunday, or a Monday, Wednesday or Saturday after 15:00, book that slot in advance so someone is there to meet you.
